In the italian supercar reign, there are no doubt that
ferrari and lamborghini are among the well-known list, but Pagani, the not so
young company (about decades) in supercar industry is about to let the world
knows of its potential. It's all start when an Argentinean
immigrated to Italy, Horacio Pagani, follows his dream
to build the finest supercar. His engineering experiences from working with
exotic car such as Lamborghini as a designer, Ferrari as F1 engine
manufacturing make his dream come true. In 1993, Pagani starts Zonda project,
and debuts the Zonda C12 in 1999 Geneva Motor Show. He continues to develop
this track car to be able to drive on street. He makes quite an entrance for
his stunning car on Febuary 18th 2011 at the Pirelli head quarter in Milan, the
Pagani Huayra world premiere.

Huayra, the god of wind in the Aymara ancient legend, is
the name of latest model from Pagani. It carries the signatures of Pagani
style. The bi-xenon headlamp derives from the Zonda, 4 central exhaust outlets
blends in with the body design perfectly.

The design is inspired by the
Mercedes Benz arrowhead shape. Material used on Huayra is carbon fiber stranded
with titanium to give the bending ability when struck. Even bolts in the car are made of titanium. The
carbon-titanium chassis uses monocoque technique, which uses the object’s
external part to support the load. It provides an exceptional absorption from
any impact. With this monocoque technique, Huayra is able to duct
all ventilation air through the monocoque structure instead of adding more parts
to help duct the air. It makes the car most lightest supercar in its class with
the weight of 1,350 kg.

curve.

The interior of aluminum gear box is exposed to see the
mechanism and the beauty of manual gearshift. Passenger can control everything through the touchscreen at the center of the car such as control audio system
partnered with Sonus Faber, navigation system, Bluetooth phone. The gear
shifting system is directly connected on the steering wheel for driver convenient.

The heart of this car lie under the hood, Mercedes-AMG M158 V12 twin-turbo custom made for Pagani. The engine gives out 730 hp, and has a top speed of 372 km/hr. Also has high CO2 and consumption efficiency. The Huayra comes with transverse sequential seven speed gearbox - AMT robotized system with driving programs. It has a large 85 liters fuel tank ensure the uninterrupted enjoyment of driving. This supercar can sprint from 0 to 100km/hr in just 3.3 seconds. All of this is reserved for prestige customer with the price tag of $1.3 million
M series in BMW industries always creates
a fun time with its performance. From this year, they launch the new product
line will be the 4 series. This 4 series is derived from the previous 3 series.
The easiest way to distinguish the new 3 series from the new 4 series is to
call all sedan models in 3 series as 3 series, while the coupe and the
convertible of the old 3 series will become 4 series.
Showcase of all new M4
Not only the number changed, but
also the engine type is changing in the new M product line. The new M3 and M4
stop running with the old 4.0 S65 V8 engine
(it is Naturally Aspirated
which is called NA). They start putting new 3.0 S55 I6 engines (this is
turbochargers). In addition, they shrink the volume of the engine; however the
new engine provide with more horsepower as an outcome. The new engine
gives out 430 hp while compare with the old one that only has 420 hp. Not to
mention the torque, from the old 295 lb-ft to 369-lb-ft. Since the new engine
being developed with higher horsepower and higher torque, yet they also worked
hard on better Fuel Consumption and lower the Emission Produce by
25%!!
Engine 3-D model released
Even though they made so many
changes in the engine and the outlook of the car, their significant DCT (Double
Clutch Transmission) transmission is still being provided as an option for this
car. Another important change they made is lower the car's weight as much as
possible. For people who want to track their car, they definitely care a lot
about their car's weight. This new M4 only weighed 3306 lb. (this is
without passengers and with 90% fuel) while compare to E92 ~3600 lb., to C63
AMG ~3900 lb., and to RS5 ~4000 lb. This is definitely a big advantage, when
you look to other brand's similar performance cars.
M4 performing on racing track
Even the new M4 seems really huge
and unique in a lot of ways, but there are some points are being discussed by
the current M3 owners. One of the thing people seems to care a lot is the sound
of the car. The supercharge cars will never have a better sounds while compare
to the NA equipped cars. The truth is people having this kind of street racing
cars are tend to modify their cars way off. The exhaust is the first part that they
swab out in order to get a better roaring sound. People not only want their car
to be loud but also want the sound to be legit. As a downfall, the new
supercharge engine will never be able to have better sounds when comparing to
those OLD NA engines.
Despite of the points that may let
the potential buyers down, but a lot of people are still counting for the release
of this new M model. The good news is people can start to pre-order their new F82 M4 as well as F80 M3 at the beginning of 2014 around Jan – Feb. The car will be
delivered by late Spring - early Summer.
The BMW i8 Futuristic. Sleek. Advanced. Extraordinary. These are some of the words
to describe the all-new 2014 BMW i8. From a potential consumer's
